This is my second rendition of this image, the first being a Genesis Oil painting I did in 1999. Besides the change of medium, I also moved the candle and changed the shape of the window shadow. My references for these paintings were photos my wife took in our living room. The light filtering through our window shades created the remarkable shadows and reflections of the bottles on the wall behind.
