The Victims of Residential Schools Memorial Painting

I took on this project for author and social worker Jenny Hill as the cover illustration for her book "Circle of Healing" relating the stories of the survivors of Canada's Residential Schools. It symbolizes the ongoing struggle to recognize and achieve healing for those victims and was presented to Canada's Metis Nation in Ottawa in September of 2005 as part of Martha Joseph's "Victory Walk for Justice".
