The Four Host First Nations' Artisan Village

February 23 - 25 at the 2010 Winter Olympic Games

at the Vancouver Community College

Multi-media Displays and Four Host First Nations Volunteers greeted visitors as did this Red River Cart!

One level down, between the entrance and the main selling floor was our Booth, displaying the Banner we created the day before we moved in!

From the above picture, turning to the right, looking down on the main floor                    The Osoyoos Indian Band display, with life-size Chief Clarence Louie, was right below us

Our Booth

A short set-up time, left us with a less than desirable lay-out - "No, we aren't the Information Desk, no we don't have Olympic pins and yes, we do know where the bathrooms are!!"...

But many people were pleasantly surprised to find a booth full of beautiful pictures hidden behind.....

...visited by many and entertained by Dennis playing his flutes!

Some of the booths on the floor

The small stage had a variety of entertaining acts (the rappers weren't my favorite)...

....but it was wonderful to experience the Four Host First Nations traditional dancing and singing

Joined by more dancers from their nation
