May 28 - 30, 2010 in Armstrong, BC
Celebrating and acknowledging the workers in BC's Metis Community Services, Roots Program and the children they help.
The Dennis J. Weber Gallery / Metis Museum
Only the second show with our travelling "gallery". We also displayed our artifacts as Henry Hall was unable to attend this year.

Yes, there is some photoshopping in this picture, but I wanted to include some important people who work in the Kelowna Metis Community Services, Maria Laboucan, Family Wellness Advocate (in light blue) and Val Richardson, Roots Program (wearing her red sash).

First Nations and Metis from all across Canada were there is support of the Okanagan's Metis Children's programs...
...including drummers, throat singers and jiggers.

Bev Lambert is always in attendance at Metis events, bringing her skills as teacher and dancer.

Learning to jig can be fun and the suckers are a good incentive!
Getting ready for the Grand Entrance - a drumming group with their teachers................. The Grand Entrance starts - the eagle feather staff and flags

The big powwow drum sets the pace..... This little one loves the excitement!

So colourful!!......

Ernie was the MC and is 80 Years Old!
He is still a great dancer!
