Celebrating Metis Culture in Ontario

presented by the Oshawa and Durham County Metis Council

The five days prior to the celebration were spent painting an 18 foot teepee for the Council

   

 

The teepee was raised for the first time June 25, 2010 - and here it is the next day, the first day of the Festival...!

      

The morning started out in the rain, but the park was vibrant with colour...
