This is another painting in my "Old Masters Colours" series. The Native Love Flute in the painting is one I made myself. I became interested in this instrument after hearing it played and so I bought some books on how to build them. They have a wonderful haunting sound which I could relate to as part of my heritage. They also have a calming effect so I like to put on Native Love Flute CDs when I paint.
