This is a portrait of my granddaughter and it's success is due in part to an off-focus photo I took of her one Christmas. This is another painting in my "Old Masters Colours" series which combines a high-realism main subject, abstract background and a limited palette of "old masters" colours. It was one of the paintings that I entered to obtain my Signature Status for the Federation of Canadian Artists.
