Dennis' Metis Coat was beaded by Lisa Shepherd.  This picture was taken at the Indian Springs Land and Cattle Company, the ranch of Senator Gerry St. Germain, September 2011, during the West Is Best Art Show

 


Dennis in the Peace Gardens campground, August 2010 for the Second Annual MetisFest. The International Peace Gardens are located within the Turtle Mountains, which straddle the border of North Dakota and Manitoba.  These hills are the geographical centre of North America, "Turtle Island" to Native Americans.
